"Ladies on the Costa"

LADIES ON THE COSTA

This series of one-woman plays about expatriate life on the Costa del Sol has been created especially to appeal to the English speaking community, combining humour and pathos with narrative.  Written and performed by Lindy Jordan, each monologue lasts about half an hour.  Performance time depends a little on audience reaction and interaction.  

Audience members sometimes like to comment on the situations of the characters, or offer advice, and this draws immediate and spontaneous response from the the author/performer, who returns to the scripted material when the interchange is over.  Involvement with the characters and recognition of their experiences is part of the unique appeal of "Ladies on the Costa".

New characters are always being written and can be commissioned for special occasions.  For example, MARTHA was written for a St Patrick's Day party, CYNTHIA was devised for a Christmas season charity concert, MAVIS first appeared at a birthday party and MAXINE was created for the American Club of the Costa del Sol, Estepona/Sotogrande Chapter.

 

Fees are NEGOTIABLE and depend upon how many "Ladies" you would like to have performed.  Please remember to book in good time for your special afternoon, or evening.

No fee is charged for charity events, only travel expenses
